Café Scenes

I’m always fascinated how many people go out as couples then end up, one or both using their phones. What follows are a few sketches observing ‘café life’, catching the poses, moments of concentration and sometimes humour of those around me.

The stripes on this woman’s jacket echo beautifully the vertical lines in the chair back, legs and fencing.
